Swamp Records is a Gainesville-based, artist resource agency run by students at University of Florida. We offer marketing, PR, advertising, and booking services to musicians and bands in the North Central Florida area while providing hands-on experience for students pursuing careers within the music industry.
We strive to empower the Florida music scene through planning concerts, events, and festivals in the Gainesville area. Aiming to promote all aspects of local art, music, and culture, we collaborate with Gainesville businesses, nonprofits, and artists to develop our community. We've been a part of Gainesville music for over 10 years and we're dedicated to continuing its legacy in Florida through our continued work.
Overall we’re a collective of creatives, organizers, taste-makers, and friends working to uplift Gainesville.

Joining Our Team
Swamp Records is a nonprofit organization that operates under the University of Florida. We aim to help students gain hands on experience in the music industry while getting involved in local music. We offer roles that cover all aspects of artist promotion, including booking, marketing, photography, graphic design, and everything in-between.
We have applications for students to apply each semester on a rolling basis. If you are a student and are interested in applying to be a part of our team, you can check out our Instagram for updates on application deadlines. We usually open them up at the start of each semester.
Working With Artists
One of our main goals is to empower local music through the promotion of Florida musicians. We have a rotating roster of Swamp Records artists, but we also have a Campaigns Team focused on working with musicians to build marketing plans for upcoming releases and projects. We offer an array of services, like as event curation, photography, social media rollouts that can help your music grow! We have Campaigns applications open on a rolling basis for artists interested in collaborating with our team. Application information and updates can also be found on our Instagram.
